not as good as an ice cream cone, but better than a sharp stick in the eye. so on the scale of drug use to fairy tales, this blog is pretty healthy.

Addendum....
I felt that I needed to add an addendum to the previous post. I fully realize that I'm being pretentious. You don't have to tell me. You are fully capable of completely ignoring this post. Yes, I have that much faith in your collective abilities.
Pretentious: Claiming or demanding a position of distinction or merit, especially when unjustified. Making or marked by an extravagant outward show; ostentatious.
Pretentious is always a bad thing for it is the sin of pride. Not that I'm dissing Mackenzie here (or maybe I am, hehe). Just replying to Andrew's comment.
Putting people in their place is one thing. Being pretentious is another. One is good (at times), and one is bad (always).
I never live with balance.
I always wake up nervous.
Light comes at me sideways;
I hold my breath forever.
I never live with balance,
though I've always liked the notion.
I feel that endless hunger
for energy and motion.

Being pretentious isn't always a bad thing. In fact, sometimes it serves to put those "other people" in their place.
